Tommy's surgery postponed again

We learned this morning that Tommy was running a fever last night. As such, the doctors have decided to delay the surgery once again. At this point, there is no indication of when it will be rescheduled. Please continue to pray for optimal conditions which will expedite the surgery to stabilize Tommy's neck. -- "Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for Him" Psalm 37:7

  1. I am praying for God's perfect timing for the surgery.

Find rest, O my soul, in God alone; my hope comes from Him...Trust in Him at all times....Psalm 62:5,8

  2. Tommy's group of supporters and their heartfelt prayers will pull everyone through this. If it were not all for Tommy, I would be amazed at the outpouring of support and affection. But, because it is for Tommy, nothing surprises me. He will continue to touch so many lives as he recovers, as that is one of his many gifts. God hears it and sees it, and he will not turn a deaf ear. May God continue to bless us all, but most of, bless Tommy and his caretakers.

  6. We want you to know that prayers are being said for Tommy by the Parish family of faculty, staff, friends, and students. So many teachers and students along with their parents remember Ross, Jack, and their wonderful parents. I have had special messages from Bonnie Mapes, Ginger Barrett, Diane Roberts, Dianne Muller, and many others who are wanting to send their thoughts and hopes for Tommy's recovery. You may have been away from Dallas and Parish since 2000, but you are certainly not forgotten. Jerry, Michael, and I pray for strength, healing, and continued faith for all of you.
