Wow! Wow! Wow! Tommy's Nite Out was an amazing celebration of Tommy and our community. More than 800 people gathered to show their support for the Van Zandt family while enjoying fabulous music, great food, awesome auction items and best of all, time with the most beautiful friends imaginable. For anyone who has lost faith in the goodness and generosity of people, let me assure you that it still exists! Please continue to pray for strength and wellness over the coming months and praise God for the powerful gift of friendship.
Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise-the fruit of lips that confess His name. And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased. Hebrews 13:15-16

The entire VanZandt family is very thankful for all of the prayers and thoughtful gestures that have been offered up the last few weeks. They really do feel blessed by these actions. Many of you have asked me what more can be done. Tommy faces a long rehabilitation period and the expenses the family will incur will be substantial. In addition to the uninsured portion of his medical expenses, he will need to maintain duel households in Fayetteville and Denver for some period of time and continue to provide for the current and future needs of this family. And, all of this will be during a time when he will be unable work any significant amount. To assist the family during this difficult time, a group of friends have come together to form The VanZandt Family Trust and will be contributing funds to the Trust to be held and expended for the benefit of the family! I have agreed to serve as a trustee of the trust and I have asked Robyn to serve with me as a co-trustee.

We were at the fundraiser and wow what an event, it was a blessing to see so much love pouring out for the VanZandts. I was wondering if there is a sight where one could purchase the t-shirts that were selling at the fundraiser, the ones with the red hi-tops on the front. I did not get a chance to buy one and would actually like to buy several and have talked to other people interested in buying the t-shirt also. Just let us know what we can do or who we can contact to get one.
